The wedding of ‘Stewie and Chickie’ was a blending of two cultures.

Stewie is a golf loving Aussie bloke who loves Thailand, and Chickie is a beautiful and gentle Thai woman, who also loves golf.   They share homes in both Hua Hin in Thailand and on the Sunshine Coast and wanted to have elements of Thai culture in their wedding ceremony.

The rain was threatening the outdoor ceremony, which was set in the park area of Golden Beach in front of the Pumicestone Passage, so we erected some marquees to protect the wedding party and guests, but the rain held off until the ceremony was completed and photo’s were taken.

There was lots of colour, so many flowers and some beautiful pre-wedding photo’s displayed around the marquees.

When Stuart and Anchalee joined their guests at the reception venue, they had changed into matching tradition Thai clothing. It was such a lovely communion of cultures, set right here in Golden Beach!
