Hiedi & Gavin are my little sister and (now) big brother-in-law and they live in the beautiful Marlborough region of New Zealand. They fell in love eight years ago, when they met in Sydney and shortly thereafter moved onto their beautiful Lagoon450 catamaran and spent seven summer seasons honing their sailing skills and love for one another sailing in the Mediterranean. When they're not sailing, they spend their time between Christchurch and their home overlooking the Marlborough Sounds and travelling.

Hiedi & Gav's wedding was set amongst the picturesque vines of Renwick at a beautiful boutique winery and even though it rained, the air was warm with love and laughter. With seventy of their closest friends and family, we celebrated under the canopy of the beautifully decorated marquee, dined on delicious local wines and produce and danced the night away. It was great to see everyone's hard work come together and everything looked beautiful, including the masses of colourful dahlias Hiedi had grown herself for the event.

 

Again, my partner Allan was super helpful in helping setup the marquee and hang the colourful lanterns that made it magical. He's very handy! Everyone had a great time and the ceremony was one to remember, I loved being able to marry my baby sister to her kiwi love!
